Roof Repair Smedway built its Hail Damage Roof Repair division around one idea: homeowners in Jackson deserve a straight answer, a fair price, and a truck in the driveway fast.
Roof Repair Smedway didn't start as a franchise looking for a market to plant a sign in. Our crews trained on real tear-offs, real ridge vents, and real attic inspections in Jackson, SC before we ever put a truck on the road under this name.
We carry full liability coverage and workers' compensation, and every lead installer holds current state licensing, so a claim adjuster, a home inspector, or your own insurance carrier can verify our credentials without a single awkward phone call.
We've seen what happens when a roof gets "good enough" instead of done right — the drywall stains, the mold behind the insulation, the second call nobody wanted to make. Our Hail Damage Roof Repair teams build to avoid that call entirely.
Verified licensing across Jackson, SC with documentation available on request.
Storm damage doesn't check a calendar, so neither does our on-call rotation.
You'll see the number before any work starts, not buried in a final invoice.
Local crews already know the weather patterns and permit offices in Jackson, SC.
By the time water is visibly dripping into a room, the damage underneath the surface has usually been developing for a while.
If your downspout discharge looks like sand, the UV-protective coating on your shingles is breaking down faster than it should.
Once a shingle starts warping, it's no longer sealing properly against wind-driven rain.
Visible light through the roof deck is a direct sign the barrier between your attic and the weather has been compromised.
A yellow-brown ring spreading across a ceiling almost always traces back to a roof leak, even if the leak point is several feet away from the stain.
If upstairs rooms feel noticeably warmer than the rest of the house, a failing roof system is a common hidden cause.
A visible bare patch after a windstorm means the roof's weather barrier has a direct gap that needs covering immediately.
Not every roof problem calls for the same fix, which is why we scope each job individually instead of running every call through one generic estimate.
Active leaks after a storm get a same-day response whenever it's physically possible — a temporary tarp-down first, a permanent fix scheduled right behind it.
From a handful of cracked shingles to a full asphalt or metal system replacement, our residential crews scope the job against manufacturer specs, not guesswork.
Flat and low-slope commercial roofs get scheduled inspections in addition to repair calls, catching ponding-water issues before they become structural.
Replacement jobs include a detailed material walkthrough so you're choosing a system that fits your climate exposure and budget, not just whatever's on the truck.
Post-storm inspections give homeowners a documented record for insurance purposes, whether or not a claim is ultimately filed.
If a roof has an unusual pitch, an older material system, or a custom architectural feature, our senior crews handle the scoping personally.
A dispatcher takes down your address, roof type, and the issue, then routes it to the nearest available crew in Jackson, SC.
A technician walks the roof, checks the attic side when accessible, and documents the damage with photos.
No verbal-only pricing — every number is documented so there's no confusion at invoice time.
A final walkthrough confirms the repair or install meets the agreed scope before the invoice is closed out.
Response windows are communicated upfront, not left as a vague "sometime this week."
Flat-rate pricing means the quote you approve is the quote you pay, barring a scope change we'll flag with you first.
Certifications are kept current so warranty coverage on materials stays valid when we install them.
We'd rather send a crew back for a five-minute fix than leave a customer unsure whether the job was done correctly.
We've worked with enough adjusters across Jackson, SC to know what documentation actually gets a claim approved faster.
Some jobs genuinely need a repair, not a replacement, and we'll tell you which one yours is.
A verbal promise doesn't hold up when you need it — that's why our guarantee is documented, dated, and handed to you at project close.
Material substitutions or unexpected decking damage found mid-job are always discussed with you first — we don't add line items after the fact and hope you don't notice.
Our Jackson coverage area extends across Jackson, SC, and if your address falls just outside the standard zone, dispatch can usually still arrange a visit.
If a storm system moves through Jackson, SC and call volume spikes, we prioritize active leaks first and communicate realistic wait times for everything else rather than leaving people guessing.
